Fences and gates in Orange County, built straight and priced by the foot

A fence is a shared wall with the neighbor and a daily-use gate, and both show every shortcut. We match you with fence contractors who set posts in concrete, build to the HOA height, and quote per foot so you can compare.

How it works

One call. The right fence contractor. No cost.

1. Tell us about the job

Call (714) 628-1225 or send the form below. A person from our Orange office answers, asks a few questions, and understands what you need.

2. We match you

We pick from the contractors we have already vetted for license, insurance and finished work. Want to compare? Ask for two or three.

3. They call you

The contractor contacts you to look at the job and quote it in writing. You decide. We follow up to make sure it went the way it should.

Before we refer anyone

What we check so you don’t have to

State license

Active with the Contractors State License Board, in the right classification for the work, checked again every renewal.

Insurance

Liability and workers’ compensation certificates on file, so a problem on your property is their problem, not yours.

Track record

Years of finished jobs for Orange County homeowners, and the follow-up calls to prove it. Contractors stay in the network by keeping customers happy.

Fair pricing

Written quotes, no bait-and-switch, and a deposit that respects California’s limit of $1,000 or 10%, whichever is less.

Good to know

Fences & Gates in Orange County: questions we get every week

Do I need a permit for a fence in Orange County?

Fences up to six feet (seven in some cities) are usually permit-free; taller fences, retaining walls and anything in the front setback need one, and HOAs have their own rules.

Does my neighbor have to split the cost?

California’s good-neighbor fence law presumes adjoining owners share the cost of a boundary fence equally, with 30 days’ written notice. Most neighbors agree once they see the quote.

Wood or vinyl?

Vinyl costs a little more and never needs paint or replacement boards; wood looks better to many people and can be stained. Both last 15 to 25 years in Orange County if the posts are set right.

How long does it take?

A day or two for a typical side-yard fence; posts set one day, panels the next.
